THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON THE HOMOGENEOUS CROSS CIRCULATION

Abstract

|
On homo-cross circulation tests with dogs it was found that histological findings of various organ:L tissues showed findings similar to those found. in the kidney and the liver following homo-renal transplantation. On double homo-cross circulation tests there were obtained findings similar to those observed on double homo-organ transplantation tests. When cortisone was employed during double homo-organ.
transplantation there were observed few histological changes. Histologically homo-renal transplantationt test revealed that relations between the dornor and the recipient were similar to those in case of homo-s cross circulation. The presence of organ specificity only in the kindey and the liver was strongly suggested in the results mentioned above. Even the presence of similar histological changes, "the acute anuric syndrome" observed by Ishikawa and my previous experiments´ of the kidney homotransplantion were not observed in this present experiments of short duration of homo-cross cicrculation. This seems to indicate an inadaquancy of making a decision on a mere basis of histological fidings.
